Partnerships Leader

We are in search of a Partnerships Leader with an entrepreneurial spirit keen to join a talented, design-led startup team. The right candidate will join Brick & Wonder as Partnerships Lead supporting our efforts to build a highly engaged online and offline community of accomplished design and real estate professionals in NYC and beyond. Brick & Wonder is incubated out of an entrepreneurial architecture studio (Lang Architecture) in Tribeca.

Must have:

• NYC-based, in-person up to 4 days per week
• A passion for entrepreneurship, architecture, design, interiors, and real estate
• Comfortable with frequent, direct sales outreach by phone, email, Zoom, and in-person meetings to engage partners and develop partnership and sponsorship sales supporting brand activations including online and in-person events
• Experience developing strategic partnerships around a marquee, annual, in-person event like a major conference or summit
• A self-starting approach and a willingness to pick up the phone many times each day to build relationships and facilitate introductions, serving as a connector in our industry for our members, partners and potential partners. This includes cold outreach to find the right point of contact within larger organizations.
• Outstanding written and spoken English with strong storytelling skills
• Proven experience with (co)developing impactful in-person event experiences for small group settings, and larger gatherings

Nice to have:

• Strong Adobe Creative Suite design skills for editing and tailoring partnership decks within provided brand guidelines
• Experience with developing Podcast partnerships and sponsorships
• Existing relationships in the Real Estate, Design, Architecture or Construction industries
• Early-stage startup experience

Compensation:

• $80-100k base salary, with significant performance incentive based on partnership sales
