We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead our vehicle builds with our external manufacturing partners.
In this role you will:
- Develop and manage comprehensive vehicle build schedules.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Systems, and Software teams to define manufacturing and testing requirements.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to ensure a consistent supply of components and vehicles.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for both component and vehicle builds.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to manage documentation requirements.
- Report on program progress, milestones, and risks to leadership and engineering teams.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience managing complex system builds in the automotive, trucking, or aerospace industries.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated success in scaling systems from design to full production.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying root causes and leading resolution efforts both on the production line and in the field.
- Expertise in driving DFx (Design for Excellence) initiatives to ensure reliable, cost-effective systems.

The annual salary range for this full-time position is $160,000-$220,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We can share more about the specific salary range for your job level during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed above are base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
