The Role
We're seeking a passionate and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes, AWS and Azure to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You'll collaborate closely with our development teams to ensure efficient and reliable deployment and management of our applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
- Managing on-premise Kubernetes clusters
- Troubleshooting pods, nodes, deployments, etc.
- Deploying and managing OpenTelemetry collector
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and Azure DevOps
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Building scripts for automatic installation and deployment of various tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations of applications
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and costs
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS and Azure technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in AWS and Azure services (e.g., EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, ECS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Azure VMs, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor)
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with observability and OpenTelemetry is preferred
- Excellent scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Points
- AWS and Azure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with serverless computing
- Knowledge of networking and security best practices
- Experience with multi-cloud environments
