ModMed is hiring a driven AI Data Analytics Engineer to join our to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing AI team focused on integrating AI solutions into healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity to help us develop synthetic conversations vital for training our AI models within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!
Your Role:
- Collaborate closely with our on-staff physicians to understand requirements and translate medical expertise into synthetic conversation scripts.
- Write and optimize Python code to generate synthetic conversations based on JSON data.
- Engineer and refine prompts to enhance the accuracy and relevance of synthetic conversations.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights that will improve AI model performance and the quality of synthetic conversations.
- Develop data analytics solutions to interpret and visualize data trends within synthetic conversations and medical datasets.
- Familiarize yourself with JSON, YAML, and other data annotation languages to manage and manipulate data efficiently.
- Coordinate in real-time with doctors to tailor synthetic conversations across our ten specialties, optimizing the AI's outputs.
- Add new data fields to the JSON continuously to improve the datasets and ensure they can be effectively utilized in prompts.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the project's workflow and outcomes.
- Python Programming: Write robust and efficient code to generate synthetic conversations, ensuring the Python scripts are scalable and maintainableData Analytics: Utilize statistical methods and data visualization tools to analyze datasets, providing actionable insights to enhance AI models.
- Data Management: Maintain and manipulate JSON and YAML files, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Actively engage with physicians and other stakeholders to refine synthetic conversation prompts for specialty-specific needs.
- Field Integration: Add and manage new data fields within JSON schemas as necessary to support evolving project requirements.
- Real-Time Coordination: Provide immediate support and adjustments in collaboration with medical professionals to optimize the project in real time.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong belief in the criticality of high-quality data and highly motivated to work with the associated challenges.
- Experience with or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn Python programming.
- Proficiency in JSON, YAML, and other data annotation languages.
- Experience in data analytics, including proficiency with tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization libraries like Matplotlib or Seaborn.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with medical professionals and other team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
- Experience with AI/ML projects, Spark, and Databricks is a plus.
