We are seeking a proactive and results-driven operations manager to join our Infrastructure department. The primary focus of this role is to improve predictability, reliability, and quality in project deliverables by streamlining and controlling business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, business analysis, and quality control, with experience from the IT industry, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes within the infrastructure department
Key Responsibilities of the role
Your main goal is to engineer, implement and support the processes that makes the department predictable and controllable in its outcomes, to this end, you will be expected to:
Analyze and map existing business processes related to infrastructure department.
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in workflow and handoff points.
Design and implement streamlined, iterative, scalable processes that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Establish and maintain a framework for monitoring quality, timelines, and deliverable expectations.
Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to improve project reliability.
Collaborate with department employees, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines, goals, and quality standards.
Regularly reviewing and refining business processes, ensuring corrective actions, regularly report on process improvements, and outcomes.
Serve as the point of contact between business units, data engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure clear communication and expectations.
Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices, process standards, and maintain detailed documentation of processes, workflows
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in process management and quality assurance.

What we are looking for
3-5 years of experience in business analysis, process optimization, or quality control, preferably in an IT related environment.
Strong understanding of infrastructure, engineering, or related technical environments.
Proven experience in business process mapping and implementing process improvements.
Familiarity with quality control methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in project management tools, process mapping tools, and software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, etc.).
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Proven ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Ability to drive process automation and identify efficiencies using digital tools.
High spirit, can do attitude, and fun to work with.
Would be great to also possess:
Experience on infrastructure management on prem or Cloud Services (especially AWS and Azure).
Coding Experience and Scripting Skills (C#, Python, PowerShell, Node JS).
Service desk or customer support experience.
Quality control and Automation
A relevant academic degree or qualifications would be considered a plus, but are not mandatory.

Clear verbal & written communication.
Willingness to travel 25%
Result oriented, self sufficient, resourceful
Professional working proficiency in English
