About the Role:

The team is seeking its first product designer in the Senior Product Designer role, who is ready to take on an extraordinary opportunity. Come to In this full-time, on-site role in Greater Boston, you will be the driving force behind creating a groundbreaking web platform. This platform will revolutionize how local governments manage their infrastructure, providing a one-stop, end-to-end solution for road management.

You will have the unique chance to accelerate the future of infrastructure, designing an innovative, user-centric platform that has the potential to impact every town, city, and county government across the United States. Your work will directly influence future investment in Cyvl, scaling our solutions to unprecedented levels.

We need someone who is highly competent, able to quickly get up to speed, and take full ownership of delivering the most beautiful and functional web platform mockups and make them a reality. This is more than just a job; it's a chance to make a lasting impact on the entire infrastructure industry.

This is a full-time, on-site position located at our Somerville office (near Union Square).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of a state-of-the-art web platform that will be a game-changer for infrastructure management.
  • Utilize visual design, design thinking, user research, product design, and UX research to create user-friendly, innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets the needs of our client base and scales effectively.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional visual design and product design skills.
  • Proficiency in Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Strong skills in user research and UX research, with a user-centered design approach.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing innovative design projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in designing complex web platforms or enterprise solutions is a plus.
  • Experience working in a startup

Compensation: $130,000 - $175,000 a year plus equity
