About This Role:
- As IT Manager at Crusoe Industries, you will lead day-to-day IT operations across multiple regions and ensure smooth functioning of all Crusoe facilities. This includes providing end-user support, making key technical decisions, and being the escalation point for the ServiceDesk. You will also collaborate with Corporate IT teams to enforce policies, manage vendor relationships, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) specific to Crusoe Industries.
A Day In The Life
Hands-On IT Leadership: Take an active role in troubleshooting, supporting end-users, and leading the implementation of IT projects
ServiceDesk & Project Management: Be an advocate for the ServiceDesk ticketing system and follow Jira Sprint best practices for project execution
Tech-Stack Decision Making: Oversee all Crusoe Industries-specific tech decisions in coordination with Corporate IT Leadership, ensuring alignment with company-wide IT standards
Develop SOPs and Runbooks: Create and continuously improve SOPs and runbooks to guide the IT team in their day-to-day operations
Platform Expertise: Become proficient in supporting Crusoe’s key platforms, including OKTA, Google Workspace, and Atlassian
Device Management: Work with the ServiceDesk to troubleshoot and manage macOS laptops and Windows CAD workstations
Cybersecurity Ambassador: Maintain a security-first mindset and act as the local ambassador for Cybersecurity by following corporate governance guidelines and assisting with security audits
Team Collaboration: Maintain close communication with Corporate IT Leadership, business units, and IT teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely response to business needs
Asset and Vendor Management: Assist in managing IT assets, procurement, and vendor relationships in collaboration with the IT Asset Manager
ITIL Practices: Employ ITIL best practices to improve IT service delivery
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Manage and mentor CI IT staff, ensuring full coverage and filling in when needed as the last line of defense
Requirements
Education & Experience:
Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing 4+ direct reports, including staff, contractors, and vendors
Fast-Paced Environment Experience: Experience working in fast-growing environments or manufacturing is a plus
Technical Expertise:
Project Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and effectively oversee change control processes
Communication Skills: Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Team-Oriented: Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and knows when to ask for help

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of $125,000 - $142,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
