About the Opportunity

As a Senior Software Engineer on Contentful’s Studio Experiences team, you will play a vital role in enhancing and supporting a product that empowers teams with the creative power of a visual builder combined with the assurance and speed of structured design and content.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Studio Experiences, building features for our page builder, improving the SDK, and helping make it easier for our customers to onboard and enable their teams to get to work. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address the needs and challenges of our customers and partners, working toward solutions that improve productivity and satisfaction.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about building innovative solutions, optimizing processes, and improving scalability while balancing strategic thinking with effective problem-solving. Experience with modern frontend development trends and framework is beneficial.

This is a hybrid opportunity 1 to 2 days a week in-office at our Denver hub.

  • Develop and maintain Studio Experiences, a strategically critical new product in the Contentful ecosystem

What you need to be successful

  • Extensive experience building complex frontend SaaS applications
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, including deep understanding of its type system.
  • Proficient in using React and some of its higher level frameworks (e.g. Next.js, Remix, Astro etc.) and other similar libraries (e.g. Vue, Angular, Svelte, Nuxt.js) for front-end development.

  • Comfortable working across the full stack and be proficient in technologies such as Node.js
  • Hands-on experience with modern bundlers such as Rollup, Vite, etc.
  • Solid background in automated testing
  • Strong collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally.
  • Great communication skills, especially when explaining complex technical concepts.

Colorado Salary Statement: The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example

Colorado Salary Range: $166,000 - $173,500
