Job Overview
We are seeking a Finance & Servicing Associate to join our team. One of our core products, the Income Pool, requires the support of a strong Pool Administration function. At Pando, Pool Administration involves putting into place and servicing and administering the legal contract (each an Income Pool Participation Agreement), as well as collecting and verifying financial data, and processing Income Pool related transactions. Reporting to our Chief Capital Officer, this individual will work alongside Pando’s Finance and Pool Administration teams to administer and service our Income Pools covering over 800 Professional Athletes, Start-up Founders and other business professionals.
This individual will engage with our clients on their sensitive financial information and be the main point of contact on all aspects of our Pool Administration business. As Pando evolves, we expect this individual to initiate and lead projects to automate and streamline our internal processes and ultimately build the Pool Administration business into a profit center. Further, this individual will also handle certain elements of Pando’s financial operations, including interacting with our outsourced bookkeeper, paying bills, helping prepare investor materials, etc.

Role / Responsibilities
● Cultivate relationships with clients to become a trusted point of contact, obtain income verification and personal information, and encourage utilization of Pando vendors and solutions that streamline the process
● Review income verification documents including U.S. and international tax returns and forms, pay stubs, equity ownership documentation, and employment contracts
● Maintain records and databases on calculations of pool contributions and distributions based on eligible income and pool terms, and the processing of related payments
● Draft and update legal documentation based on form agreements and working with external legal counsel, and answer client questions on legal documentation and terms
● Prepare and send client communications including invoices and statements
● Participate in collections efforts on past due client income reporting documentation and
receivables
● Manage financial aspects of all of Pando’s vendor relationships
● Act as first line of defense and day-to-day point of contact for external bookkeepers on all
aspects of Pando’s financial activities
● Collaborate with the team on building scalable systems to better automate Pando’s Pool Administration process

Experience / Skills
● Bachelor’s degree (in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or other related field a plus)
● Prior experience in financial products, legal documentation and financial information
● Self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
● Strong excel skills, with other technical skills such as experience with SQL, Zapier, and
HubSpot as a plus
● Background in Finance, Accounting or other related fields, with exposure to loan or other
financial product servicing as a plus
● High energy and drive with a predisposition to take action and solve problems when (or
before) they arise
● Creative thinker particularly in increasing efficiency by automating manual processes

Location
San Francisco, CA is home to Pando HQ. Our team works both remotely and in-person. For this role in particular, we have a preference for someone who can call San Francisco home base.
