What you’ll do
As a Senior Recruiter on the Business Recruiting team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling critical business functions at Brex including Finance, Accounting, Legal and People. You will work closely with hiring managers to create the strategy and roadmap to attract the best talent to Brex. As the expert in talent acquisition, you will help attract, evaluate, and hire the best for our business teams. We are moving quickly so you will own projects and programs extending beyond the typical recruiting activities, ensuring process excellence and top-notch experience for all candidates.
Responsibilities
- Source potential candidates using unique techniques, leverage creative ways to drive referrals, and review applications
- Create comprehensive talent maps to share insights on the talent market
- Identfiy and implement innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies
- Advise hiring managers on best practices in talent acquisition
- Represent Brex to candidates helping to find and attract exceptional talent
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities and alignment to job profiles and company values
- Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)
- Work with candidates through the offer and negotiation process
- Coordinate with leadership to forecast and prioritize hiring needs
Requirements
- 4+ years of full-cycle sourcing or recruiting experience for Finance, Accounting, and/or Legal departments in a fast-paced environment
- Experience understanding job requirements and screening applicants
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
- Solid understanding of HR practices and labor laws
- BS in Human Resources Management or relevant degree
- Must be willing to work in office 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday

- Experience with Greenhouse ATS
- Experience recruiting for People/HR roles.
- Experience working in a high-growth startup
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $126,560- $158,200. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
