Xverse is the most advanced and user-friendly Bitcoin wallet, supporting Ordinals, Runes, BRC20, Stacks, and Rare Sats. Available on iOS, Android, and as a Chrome browser extension, Xverse enables secure management of Bitcoin on layer 1 and layer 2 networks like Stacks, with more networks coming soon. Our globally distributed, agile, and fast-moving team is focused on onboarding the next 1 billion users to web3, positioning Xverse as the go-to wallet and gateway.

Our engineering team is a fairly flat structure made up of very senior full stack engineers focusing on different projects, like the web/browser extensions, dev tooling, backend, frontend, mobile, and sometimes special projects such as integrating with Bitcoin L2s.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of both frontend and backend development processes to create high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Typescript, node.js, React, and React Native.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into high-impact features.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design reviews to drive product innovation.
• Implement and Integrate APIs: Develop and maintain APIs to support front-end functionalities. Ensure seamless integration with third-party services and platforms in Web3 and DeFi ecosystems.
• Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks across the entire stack to ensure smooth, reliable, and secure operations of applications used by millions of users.
• Continuously improve the performance of the codebase through code reviews, refactoring, and adopting best practices for performance optimization.
• Share knowledge with the team, helping to cultivate a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
• Keep up with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development, particularly in the Web 3 and crypto space.
• Propose and implement new technologies or frameworks that could enhance the product.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack engineer in the Javascript family: Node.js, React, React Native.
• Experience working in Web3, Bitcoin, preferably with crypto wallets or other Defi products.
• Comfortable to work with loose requirements.
• Proven abilities to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested, secure code
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
