Blockchain Developer

Auroblocks is a dynamic, forward-thinking organization at the forefront of decentralized finance (DeFi). We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solidity Developer with a passion for blockchain technology and decentralized ecosystems. You will work on innovative DeFi projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Smart Contract Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy secure, efficient, and scalable smart contracts using Solidity for DeFi protocols.
• DeFi Protocol Forking: Fork and customize existing DeFi protocols with a deep understanding of DeFi mechanisms such as lending/borrowing, yield farming, AMMs, staking, etc.
• Bot Development: Write automated bots in Node.js to interact with smart contracts and perform on-chain actions (e.g., arbitrage, liquidation monitoring).
• Subgraph Creation: Develop and maintain subgraphs to index and query on-chain data using The Graph protocol.
• Code Review & Optimization: Ensure high code quality, conduct audits, and optimize smart contract performance for security and gas efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and the rest of the development team to deliver high-quality products.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to smart contract interactions and DeFi protocol integrations.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Solidity and smart contract development.
Proven experience forking and deploying multiple DeFi protocols.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of DeFi concepts such as liquidity pools, AMMs, staking, yield optimization, and lending/borrowing.
Proficiency in Node.js and experience writing bots for blockchain interaction.
Experience writing subgraphs for The Graph to index and query on-chain data.
Strong grasp of Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains.
Knowledge of smart contract security best practices, including auditing and gas optimization techniques.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in blockchain environments.
Teamwork: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with other blockchain technologies like Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, or Avalanche.
Familiarity with testing frameworks like Truffle, Hardhat, or Foundry.
Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
