Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

What you will be doing:

ComplyAdvantage continues to scale and our high achieving Finance team has a new opening in Cluj-Napoca. We are looking for a driven and talented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong background in executing critical Accounts Payable and Payment Processes for a Group of Companies to help us build our SaaS-based anti-money laundering solutions, which empower organisations to fight financial crime!

Accounts Payable (AP) is a critical component of our Global Finance organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring our suppliers are paid on a timely and accurate basis on behalf of our global offices based in Romania, Singapore, the US, Portugal, and the UK.

As a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:

• Propose for approval supplier payment runs and execute in a timely and accurate manner
• Oversee treasury activities including inter-account transfers, monitoring foreign currency requirements and execute bank payments
• Entry and review of invoices and POs in our P2P systems
• Be a key point of contact for AP queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Review and manage employee expense processes
• Implement strong and fit-for-purpose controls, policies, and procedures and uphold these policies on behalf of the Group
• Work with the Finance team to optimise current systems and processes relating to the AP cycles
• Produce AP reporting metrics and KPIs
• Interact with auditors on AP processes and controls.

About you:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will have:

• Previously administered Accounts Payable and Banking processes (minimum of 5 years relevant experience)
• Confident and professional communication skills developed through working with both internal and external stakeholders
• A sharp eye for detail, identifying accounts payable anomalies and ensuring that payments are accurate and on time
• Experience working with fast-paced international business environments
• Demonstrated experience in implementing control improvements to the AP cycle and reporting on KPIs to management.
