Job Description: Founding Software Engineer (Backend)

Location: HSR Layout Bengaluru (In office 5 days/week)

Are you passionate about building beautiful, user-friendly web applications and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment? Datazip is looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team and assist in developing innovative data-driven products. You'll have the opportunity to learn and contribute to both front-end and back-end development tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in designing and implementing user interfaces using NextJS and Redux.
2. Translate product requirements into functional applications under the guidance of experienced developers.
3. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
4. Collaborate with back-end engineers and data analysts to integrate data pipelines and functionalities.
5. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

1. 1+ years of experience working previously in a product-based company or an early-stage startup.
2. Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, SCSS).
3. Experience with JavaScript frameworks, with a focus on Typescript (React.js, Next.js) and hands-on with ES6.
4. Experience with Redux/Mobex.
5. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
6. Hands-on experience with Frontend unit testing tools such as Jest, Jasmine, or Enzyme is a plus.
7. Good understanding and practical experience in manipulating the browser’s DOM.
8. Previous experience in a startup environment is preferred.

Bonus Points:

1. Experience with data visualization libraries.
2. Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL preferred).
3. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
4. Understanding of Webpack.
