Who we are looking for:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced React Native Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience building high-quality, performant mobile applications using React Native. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our existing mobile applications and contributing to developing new features and products. Strong collaboration skills, proficiency with Jira, and advanced English language skills are essential for this role. IMPORTANT: THIS POSITION IS FOR PEOPLE BASED IN COSTA RICA.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Implement pixel-perfect UI designs and ensure responsiveness across different devices.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and other backend services.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest React Native trends and technologies.
- Utilize Jira for task management, bug tracking, and project collaboration.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing React Native applications.
- Proven experience building and deploying mobile applications to app stores.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), React Native framework, and related libraries.
- Experience with Redux or other state management libraries.
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, etc.).
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Proficiency in using Jira for project management and bug tracking.
- Advanced English language skills (written and spoken).
Bonus Points:
- Experience with native mobile development (iOS or Android).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience with TypeScript.
