AI Solutions Engineer (Founding Engineer): GPT Integration and Automation Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AI Solutions Engineer with a strong background in GPT model integration and API customization. This role requires a hands-on engineer to design and deliver a comprehensive Proof of Concept (POC) for a GPT-powered application within OpenAI’s environment, utilizing advanced capabilities, including function calling and memory features. You will be responsible for building a responsive and adaptable system that dynamically enhances user interactions and provides accurate, data-driven insights.

As part of our founding team at Sail AI, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing API usage to handle profile interactions, real-time responses, and adaptive learning for laying the foundation for a cutting-edge AI-powered platform. This is an opportunity to directly impact product development in a fast-growing, innovative startup and shape our platform from the ground up.

Time Requirement: This POC is intended to be completed within a 1-3 month timeframe. We're looking for a candidate with the expertise to deliver results efficiently and within this period.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Integration: Work with OpenAI’s GPT models to integrate advanced functionalities, including API calls, memory capabilities, and function calling, to support profile handling, query processing, and adaptive recommendations.

Automation Workflow Development: Build automated workflows that allow seamless data aggregation, real-time user interaction, and adaptive recommendation updates.

API Configuration: Configure API usage to optimize profile handling, real-time interaction, and adaptive learning, ensuring high responsiveness and relevance .

Front-End Integration: Develop a basic web-based user interface hosted on our domain, serving as a portal for user profile setup, query submission, and recommendation display. This minimal UI will facilitate user interactions and ensure a streamlined experience during the POC phase.

Collaboration: Work closely with the founding team to ensure the technical structure supports the POC’s requirements while aligning with business objectives.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with OpenAI’s GPT models, especially in API integration, function calling, and - memory capabilities.
• Strong experience in prompt engineering, data handling, and real-time interaction within an AI environment.
• Experience with web development for simple user interfaces, preferably using lightweight front-end tools or frameworks.
• Familiarity with automation tools and basic backend logic to support efficient data processing.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
