The Payroll & Benefits Analyst is an integral part of our Global Total Rewards Team. The Analyst ensures the timely and accurate delivery of payroll processing in compliance with all laws and regulations as well as benefit administration support. The position has an in depth understanding of Poland payroll processing and knowledgeable of benefits and global payroll. This position will serve as a resource for management and employees along with supporting cross-functional team initiatives and projects. The successful candidate must be able to identify problems and recommend solutions for process improvements. The individual must be highly motivated, a self-starter, have a customer/employee-first mindset, and work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll-related transactions in compliance with company policy and all local and jurisdictional laws and regulations utilizing automated payroll processing systems, and assisting in quarter and year end payroll activities (currently using Celergo and ADP Workforce Now)
- Partner with ADP Comp Services/Celergo team to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Audit payroll input data, reports and supporting documentation to verify authenticity and completeness of data for the purposes of ensuring accurate payroll processing in partnership with Total Rewards leadership
- May be responsible for processing non-routine and unscheduled transactions including special payments, adjustments after verification and approval from appropriate leaders, or completing documentation by request
- Responsible for monitoring, responding and resolving inquiry emails and providing timely customer service to employees
- May partner with finance in payroll related general ledger activities including preparing payroll and other compensation information for journal entries and reconciling payroll balances
- Assist with tax agency and regulator issues and account activities as needed
- Assist with maintaining and improving internal control procedures and processes; maintain process documentation and procedures to ensure accuracy, effectiveness and reliability of the established payroll processes and controls
- Partner with total rewards team to perform payroll system testing for enhancements and upgrades to validate expected functionality as designed; recommend system and procedural improvements and changes
- Appropriately handle employee files and documentation related to payroll activities
- Manage day-to-day benefits administration, including benefit enrollment, leave of absence, health exams, and reconciling and processing monthly invoices
- Ensure benefits and wellness programs are administered in compliance with applicable laws and regulations at the direction of total rewards leadership
- Ensuring the accuracy of employee documentation in compliance with Polish labor law as applicable
- Ad Hoc reporting and other projects and tasks assigned by manager
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in Human Resources or Finance
- ADP WorkForce Now preferred or other global HRMS enterprise system experience
- ADP Celergo or other global platform experience preferred
- Experience in all relevant payroll functions, including payroll processing and balancing, internal controls and payroll taxes
- Experience administering and supporting Poland benefits
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to meet critical deadlines, manage priorities and workflow effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge productive relationships with employees, payroll/HR team and cross-functional teams
- Must be fluent in the English language; German or French a plus
- Must be able to be in the office 2-3 days/week
