ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior NetOps and SysOps Engineer - Reliability you will work as part of the SRE team to perform Business As Usual tasks and Quarterly KPIs spans across the entire company meaning you'll be able to work with multiple teams across various products and platforms to ensure their software features are reliable for the build and launch & Operational teams. You will be helping the organization with

• Validating and contributing to the operations of IT infrastructure and non-functional requirements, ensuring they fit into a cohesive vision aligned with the rest of the Technology roadmap of the platform for launch.
• Responsible for ensuring alignment with internal teams (DevOps/ DBA/ Platform Developers) and delivering value which helps Circles-X Platform to run reliable services for end-customers.
• Ensuring that technology choices meet the needs of the business for service excellency.
• Run common infrastructure best practices focused on security, operational efficiency & cost efficiency that’ll help the rest of the business deliver value.
• Experience in enabling world class observability embedded in the platform for world class MTTD/MTTR
• Experience building & deploying multi cloud IAC using Ansible and/or Terraform in an AWS/ GCP Cloud based environment
• Adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and writing skills.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Manage and prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn new technologies as needed to provide the best solutions.
• Strong problem analysis skills to include the use of mathematical concepts to validate results.

What are we looking for?

• 6+ years of experience or exposure to Systems Engineering and SRE
• Understanding of hardware and software considerations
• Networking Skills: Cloud Networking components, Administer firewalls, load balancers, IPsec-related items, and have a firm grasp of network fundamentals is mandatory
• Cloud Networking/ computing or equivalent certifications are desirable
• Working knowledge of network concepts and cloud to on-premise interconnectivity
• CDN, WAF and DNS working knowledge is desirable
• Network diagramming and documentation (HLD/LLD)
• Good Exposure to Cloud computing platforms (AWS/GCP) is expected.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), IAM tools and LDAP
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability remediation on Linux platform ( Ubuntu / RedHat)
• Working knowledge of remote VPN setups and troubleshooting is required.
• Working knowledge of Ansible is required
• Knowledge of IaC tools required and Terraform / Terragrunt is a plus
• Any cloud certification(s) is a plus
