Role Overview:

We are seeking a Game Master - Front Desk who can engage and entertain guests while providing exceptional customer service. This role is all about social interaction, creativity, and ensuring guests have a blast from start to finish. As a Game Master, you’ll set the tone for the adventure, guide players through our escape room experiences, and ensure every moment is filled with fun and excitement.

Responsibilities:

Guest Engagement & Hosting:

• Hyping up players for their adventure and setting the tone from the start.
• Communicating rules, guidelines, and storylines in a fun and engaging way.
• Speaking confidently in front of large groups of people.

Team Guidance & Support:

• Staying alert and focused while monitoring team progress from the control room.
• Adapting to different personalities and situations, offering hints and clues as needed.

Creating Memorable Experiences:

• Immersing yourself in the escape room experience by learning our storylines and characters.
• Finding unique moments to enhance the guest experience (e.g., getting guests to dance or sing for hints).
• Ensuring all teams leave on a high note, whether they succeed or not, with celebrations or words of encouragement.

Teamwork & Creativity:

• Collaborating with the team and living by our core company values.
• Using downtime to complete maintenance tasks, such as touch-up painting or prop repairs, to improve our episodes.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills with an enthusiastic, positive attitude.
• Confident communication skills and ability to articulate clearly in front of groups.
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn and grow in different roles.
• Punctual, responsible, and available to work weekends and evenings.
• (No gaming or technology skills required, but they are a plus.)

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $12.50
