Position
Japanese Marketer Plang is looking for a Japanese marketing specialist who will help expand our presence in Japan through our AI English conversation app.
This role will involve understanding the characteristics of the local Japanese user base and designing and executing marketing strategies tailored to them.
You will have the opportunity to promote Plang’s brand across various channels, from managing SNS to collaborating with influencers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance Plang's presence in the Japanese market
- Plan advertising content and collaborate with external partners for new user acquisition
- Design and implement campaigns and promotions specifically tailored for Japanese users
- Manage SNS and other social media channels, analyzing performance to optimize content
- Continuously update marketing strategies based on market trends in Japan
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the Japanese market (open to Korean applicants)
- For Japanese nationals, the ability to communicate in everyday Korean
- At least 2 years of marketing experience, with a portfolio available upon request
- Passion for consuming diverse Japanese content and staying on top of trends
- For foreign applicants, a bachelor's degree or higher is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Native Japanese or bilingual proficiency
- Interest in the English learning and education market
- In-house marketing experience in the IT services sector
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to lead projects responsibly
- Clear and concise documentation skills
