About the job
We’re looking for an experienced PR Manager to handle our media relations in Ukraine.
About us
With over 200 million customers in 50+ countries, Bolt is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe and Africa. And it's all thanks to our people.
We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission!
About the role
Ukraine's PR Manager will leverage strong local media relations to implement the PR strategy and heavily support ongoing projects in the country. We’re looking for someone with a long-term strategic approach to PR who can build Bolt’s narrative and raise awareness of our ride-hailing, micro-mobility and food business lines.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Owning media relations in Ukraine, which involves forming and maintaining good relationships with journalists, responding to media inquiries, and staffing interviews/press events.
- Working together with marketing and social media teams on integrated campaigns.
- Managing communication crises if and when they arise.
- Training spokespeople, ensuring Bolt spokespeople are prepared to represent the company during media engagements and public events.
- Supporting brand-related activities.
- Collaborating with Public Policy on key regulatory issues in Ukraine.
About you:
- You are passionate about PR and the impact shared mobility can have on better cities.
- You’ve been working in PR for at least 3 years, creating a network of journalists along the way.
- You thrive in an environment with many challenges by leveraging a “get-it-done” attitude.
- Your written and spoken English and Ukrainian are flawless.
- You’ve been building and executing PR strategies with a proven track record of driving long-term narratives in the public space. It is even better if you’ve been doing all this while part of international teams and handling public policy-related issues.
- You have excellent project management and reporting skills plus feel at home in environments where teamwork and aligning with stakeholders is key.
Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
Why you’ll love it here:
- Play a direct role in shaping the future of mobility.
- Impact millions of customers and partners in 600+ cities across 50+ countries.
- Work in fast-moving autonomous teams with some of the smartest people in the world.
- Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
- Get a rewarding salary and stock option package that lets you focus on doing your best work.
- Enjoy the flexibility of working in a hybrid mode with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week to foster strong connections and teamwork.
- Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
*Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.
