Project Manager

Job brief
We are looking for experienced Product engineering managers who are passionate in building enterprise class SaaS products. You will join a dynamic start-up environment and work with cross-functional teams to build and roll-out Cybersecurity products that deliver company’s vision & strategy. This role will be based in Bangalore.

Industry experience

7+ years of industry experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cybersecurity product engineering setup or any SaaS product engineering setup.

Qualifications
▪ Bachelor of engineering in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science.
▪ Certified Scrum Master
Key responsibilities
▪ Work closely with Product owner & Product manager to understand Epics, Features & User stories and
translate these into tasks to be assigned to engineers
▪ Develop a detailed sprint plan with detailed tasks developed in Azure DevOps and assigned to leads & engineers
▪ Track progress and manage timely delivery in each sprint
▪ Responsible for ensuring highest level of product quality by balancing scope, budget & schedule
▪ Responsible for automation of DevOps processes, this includes builds, releases and reporting
▪ Establish consistent product engineering process across distributed teams
▪ Track key engineering metrics and report these at the end of every sprint
▪ Maintain a risk log and proactively manage product engineering related risks
▪ Define KPIs for all team members and conduct performance appraisal every quarter
▪ Providing continuous feedback to team members on their strengths and areas of improvement
▪ Manage engineering cost of internal teams, partners, cloud and cost of tools/utilities
▪ Conduct product engineering review meeting with the leadership team every month
▪ Setup & govern use of best practices in software engineering including secure-coding best practices
▪ Mentor product engineers & take care of their learning needs
▪ Responsible for writing blogs/articles/whitepapers

Experience required for the role
▪ In depth experience and familiarity with agile PDLC and rapid product development
▪ 8+ years of experience with a proven track record of managing delivery of SaaS products
▪ Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project
▪ Proficiency in using Product management tools like Aha & Azure Boards
▪ Experience in DevSecOps, build & release management
▪ Strong experience in one of the Cloud (MS Azure / AWS / GCP) environments
▪ Understand the value of iterating fast; learning from small, safe, frequent changes
▪ Is agile and enjoys the speed of a fast-paced, highly engaged start-up environment, curious, and constantly seeks to improve standards as we go along
▪ Have expertise and strong belief in automation, tooling, and testing as critical parts of the software lifecycle
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with multi-functional groups
▪ Team player who brings a can-do attitude to a dynamic working environment
