About the role
Your work as a Capital Allocation Analyst will be leading the excellence in the Capital Allocation domain in the ride-hailing industry.
You will be developing, monitoring and working towards implementing the best practices around forecasting and investment decision frameworks. This involves both global portfolio decision frameworks but also deep dive analysis on country/city-level of capital allocation logics. You will be the go-to person for investment efficiency analysis, investment tactics recommendations and automating as much as possible the process for our stakeholders.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensure that best capital allocation practices are followed globally by working closely with various stakeholders.
- Develop a transparent investment decision process, document the frameworks and tactical action plans, give guidance to the local teams on frameworks and ensure that the country teams can make decisions independently based on framework.
- Build, test and monitor that the market (city & country) performance would follow the investment strategy framework, call out actions if needed.
- Work together closely with the data science team to build and implement the automated process to run financial models. Work out the solutions to make decisions on what markets should we invest more that could bring best efficiency in the long term.
- Have strong collaboration inside the Rides Finance team that the frameworks would be used also in reporting and budgeting.
- Work on monthly, quarterly and annual planning processes. Work on capital allocation on portfolio level, ensuring the distribution of investment is done in the most efficient way.
About you:
- BSc in Economics, Business, Finance.
- At least 4 years of experience in an analytical role dealing with large volumes of data and forecasting frameworks.
- Strong Google Sheets, business modelling and data visualisation skills.
- Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Having a great grasp of important business metrics.
- Innovative/creative and get-things-done mindset.
