As part of our mission to make global trade easy for everyone, and our unrelenting desire to grow, we are expanding into Spain. This is a unique opportunity for the experienced and well-connected (senior) Sales Executive that you are to be in the driver’s seat of building up a business, growing it aggressively and leaving your mark in the market. You will be part of a high performing an engaged commercial team equally excited as you to build up Flexport’s Spanish presence and to solve customer problems with tech-enabled freight forwarding. You will be:
- Building and growing Flexport Spain together with your colleagues, our ambitions are high!
- Identifying good fit clients - both self-prospected and generated by your SDR team
- Consulting with new clients to understand their supply chain needs and pains
- Creating a value add solution, demonstrating our capabilities through remote and in-person meetings
- Closing the deal - that goes without saying!
- Leading the customer onboarding process by leveraging internal resources and teams You’ll be joining a sales team with a lot of emphasis on growth, combining great culture, a place to succeed and focus on career development make this a fun & dynamic place to work.
Our expectations:
- 3+ years experience in a quota carrying sales role, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals in the Spanish market.
- You've got experience within the freight forwarding industry domain.
- You are a high energy individual who is not afraid to pick up the phone and cold call a prospect if you believe there might be some business to win.
- Experience working in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain industry is a plus
- Demonstrating genuine interest towards your clients, which you leverage in leading value adding discovery calls to uncover current processes and pain points.
- Despite being a hunter, you also embrace your key role in managing accounts by taking the lead in creating an outstanding experience for your clients.
- Above all, you are a fast learner, you have a strong work ethic, and you have a burning desire to grow into a top 5% sales executive in the country.
- Spanish and English fluency is a must
