About the job
About the role
At Delve, we’re building an AI-powered compliance platform that dramatically reduces the time it takes to achieve HIPAA and SOC2 compliance—from months down to days. Our mission is to help startups secure and scale faster without getting bogged down in regulatory complexities.
As our Founding Fullstack Engineer, you'll be a core part of our founding team, working directly with us. We met at MIT and dropped out to build Delve when we experienced the tedium and cost of getting our previous startup compliant.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy fullstack applications that power our AI-driven compliance solutions.
- Build alongside the founders to translate product vision into technical reality.
- Lead and own large-scale projects, from backend infrastructure to intuitive user interfaces.
- Help build the engineering culture at Delve, setting best practices for code quality, scalability, and collaboration.
- Work closely with customers and iterate rapidly to enhance user experience.
About You:
- Experience: You're fluent in modern web technologies such as Next.js, React, Node.js, Typescript, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Builder's mindset: You're excited about joining a startup at its earliest stages and taking full ownership of projects. You imagine your next role being a founder of your own startup.
- Adaptable: You're comfortable working across the stack, switching between backend architecture and frontend design.
- User-focused: You care deeply about the product's impact and strive to build seamless, efficient experiences for users.
- Team player: You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited to work closely with a talented, motivated team.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with integrations
- Worked with compliance frameworks like GDPR, ISO27001, PCI, NIST, CCPA, FEDRAMP, HITRUST
- Familiarity with LLMs and working in AI-driven applications.
- Eye for design
Why Delve?
- Impact: You’ll be one of the first engineers at a YC startup, shaping the product and engineering culture from the ground up.
- Growth: The challenges you’ll solve here will set you up to grow both technically and as a leader. As we scale, so will your role and responsibilities.
- Mission-Driven: Compliance should be faster, easier, and more accessible. You'll help companies achieve that in record time, contributing to their growth and success.
- Traction: Our customers rely on our product for a critical part of their business, you’ll get to build alongside these other startups as we all grow together
