About the Role:Madison Logic is seeking a Senior Product Designer, to work alongside our product, engineering and data teams to design a world class intelligent ABM and Demand Generation platform serving both internal operations and Fortune 100 Clients at scale.
The Senior Product Designer will own design and user experience end-to-end. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting user research both internally and externally, and for delivering designed experiences that ultimately drive platform value and adoption. Behind the scenes, you’ll help connect the dots and simplify and rationalize a complex product design without losing relevant detail for Clients or internal stakeholders. Your goal will be to design and deliver a clear, usable, and intuitive platform that is heavily used by all stakeholders.
This role would suit candidates with experience in data visualization, platform UX, and a strong understanding of human interface design principles in evolving multi-tenant systems design, service design or information architecture background, with experience facilitating workshops and wrangling complexity into clarity. This is an Individual Contributor position.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll lead design for ML platform, which includes evolving the design of the current platform and driving the future vision to ensure it’s cohesive for all users
- You’ll have fluency in modern design tools and processes with skills in facilitation, research, interaction design, and visual design
- You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional product teams and be responsible for all design artifacts produced, from initial discovery and user journey mapping through to the execution of final UI design details. Design artifacts include customer journey maps, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, mocks, prototypes, etc.
- You’ll deeply understand the users you’re designing for, both customers and internal operations team. Whether it’s joining user research sessions, learning from previous insights, reading data reports or running your own lightweight research and analysis, you’ll strive to understand the what, why and how of the problems you’re solving for to ensure we don’t just ship the thing right, but we ship the right thing
- You’ll collaborate using strong communication, written documentation and facilitation skills
- You’ll work closely with PMs, Engineers, Data engineers and Data scientists to make sure the teams aren’t just shipping great designs, but they are deeply involved throughout the design process
- You’ll execute (and advocate for) polished, intuitive, and accessible user experiences. You’re pragmatic and able to balance the ideal experience with knowing where and when to make scoping trade-offs based on technical constraints, experimentation strategy or business risk
- You’ll help raise the bar for design at Madison Logic
- You’ll regularly work with product leadership. This is to help make sure long-term strategy, business goals and experience quality are all in alignment and that there are healthy opportunities for visibility and feedback
Basic Qualifications:
- Design experience: You’ll demonstrate 5+ years of hands-on product design experience working across the entire product development lifecycle. You have a portfolio (or case studies) showing deep expertise designing B2B product(s) and the unique challenges they represent
- Team structures: You have experience working within cross functional team structures, partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineers, driving a collaborative and psychologically safe culture where everyone can share ideas
- Communication: You have exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Design thinking mindset: You’re passionate about inclusive design and accessibility, and you’ll design with all our users in mind. You care about the UI design details but are also comfortable zooming out, seeing the broader picture and connecting the dots to create a cohesive overall experience
- Action oriented: You’re comfortable running workshops or leading remote collaboration sessions with cross-functional groups
- Education: Degree in Human computer interaction or equivalent
