Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions, designing and implementing scalable applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, stays updated on industry trends, and has a strong background in software development methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all areas of software development projects including architecture, infrastructure, testing, design, and programming
• Collaborate across departments to discover new software solutions and define project requirements
• Design and implement scalable and robust applications.
• Work closely with development team to create stable, secure, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Perform code reviews to ensure the quality of the codebase.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the software development industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
• 4+ years of experience with database technologies such as Mysql
• Proficiency in PHP programming including object oriented and functional paradigms.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• 4+ years of experience with automated test systems
• Experience with distributed DVCS (git, mercurial).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Web Programming (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
• API development and design
• Test driven development
• Cloud-based services
