Position Overview:
This role is ideal for individuals looking to enhance their frontend development skills while applying mathematical principles to solve real-world design problems. The intern will work closely with our development team to create responsive web designs, utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a specific focus on precision and optimization driven by mathematical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Develop and maintain web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring high responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Math-Driven Solutions: Use mathematical concepts (e.g., geometry, ratios, grids, and scaling) to tackle layout challenges, creating pixel-perfect designs and responsive grids.
• jQuery Integration: Utilize jQuery for interactive components and animations, enhancing the user experience.
• Responsive Design: Implement responsive design techniques to ensure web applications are optimized for all devices (mobile, tablet, and desktop).
• Problem Solving: Apply mathematical principles to resolve complex design and layout issues (e.g., determining proportional spacing, calculating optimal grid layouts, ensuring responsive elements maintain aspect ratios).
• Collaboration: Work closely with the design and development teams to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive, functional, and mathematically accurate web pages.
• Code Optimization: Ensure web pages are optimized for performance and speed using best practices, including calculating efficient use of space and resources.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• A solid grasp of mathematical concepts, especially in areas like geometry, algebra, and ratios, as applied to web design and layout.
• Experience with responsive design and ability to apply mathematical logic for consistency across different screen sizes and devices.
• Attention to detail in translating designs into functional, pixel-perfect code.
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in using math to resolve layout and design challenges.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
• Good communication skills and a passion for learning new skills.
