International Lawyer

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Legal Consultant to join our team. This role requires approximately 10 hours per week, primarily focused on reviewing and advising on various contractual agreements and ensuring compliance with international legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with external service providers, including developers, accountants, and other consultants.
• Oversee legal agreements with exchanges, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Assist with loan agreements, capital injections, and related financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations, potentially including compliance oversight.
• Provide legal advice on corporate matters and strategic business decisions.
• Liaise with the Operational Manager on legal matters and support business operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience, with a focus on international law and multi-jurisdictional legal systems.
• Experience working in or with high-frequency trading firms, financial institutions, or technology sectors is a plus.
• Prior experience in a Big 3 law firm or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance across different countries.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks efficiently, and communicate effectively with operational teams.
