About the Role

We're seeking a passionate and driven CEO to lead Solar Slice through its next phase of growth. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a real difference in the fight against climate change while building a successful and innovative company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Solar Slice's overall strategy.
  • Secure funding to accelerate growth and expand our impact.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team.
  • Oversee all aspects of the company's operations, including marketing and communications, financial management, and solar site construction.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the energy and climate change landscape.
  • Effectively communicate Solar Slice's mission and value proposition to a variety of audiences.
  • Represent Solar Slice to external stakeholders.
  • Assess marketing campaigns and growth strategies to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare financial reports and budgets to track performance and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Understand the intricacies of solar site construction and management to ensure efficient and successful implementation.
  • Form strategic partnerships with retail and social entities.

  • Located near Houston. While most of the work is remote, in-person meetings with advisors in the Houston area will frequently occur.
