Construction Manager – Team Lead: The construction manager provides insights into the construction phase of the project, including quality of work, adherence to specifications and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Construction planning and monitoring (schedule, cost control and compliance of executed works with project technical specifications)
• Ensure that construction activities on Projects are executed on time and meet safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements
• Support Proposals and Projects with the best construction execution providing technical support as required
• Timeliness and accuracy of construction works execution
• Technical quality of project constructability reviews and construction projects plan review
• Specialists support visits on site organization
• Daily, weekly and monthly construction reports
• Prescribe solutions to problems concerning construction techniques, schedules and budgets
• Close-out report preparation
• Work progress certification
• Preparation of third-party's authorities site visits and audits
• Identification and adoption of correct HSEQ standards according to company standards and local norms and legislation
• Managing contractors (including construction work troubleshooting), and suppliers
• Managing construction site.
Qualifications
• Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
• Minimum 20 years’ experience in Close-Out Audit for a Refinery or Petrochemical Industry
• Significant experience in construction, including planning, mechanical, civil and electrical/instrumental activities
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Excellent management skills
Required knowledge
• Commissioning - start up
• Construction & Installation: project feasibility, data books, Oper & Decom Manual, control system knowledge, inspection, control and testing techniques
• Compliance: Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Health of site management
• Contracting: variations and claim resolution
• Quality & Safety: audit and certification activities, operational security, contractors' specs, qualification & auditing
• Technologies: Standard ISO, TQM and Quality system
• Project Management: project feasibility, data books, Oper & Decom Manual, close-out report preparation, project management methodologies and techniques, risk management.
