Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of Java applications and frameworks.
Mentor and guide team members in coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their integration where appropriate.
Facilitate agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Manage and prioritize the development workload to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
Proficiency with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful services.
Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and test-driven development (TDD).
Understanding of security best practices in software development.
