The Human Resources coordinator will provide operations and support to the Human Resources team by facilitating onboarding steps prior to an employee’s start date, and perform administrative functions including, but not limited to, sending offer letters, updating memos and preparing immigration petitions, auditing confidential files, and working closely with different teams to provide a positive employee experience.
What You'll Do (HR):
- Facilitate HR onboarding process for new hires, including issuing offer letters, employment agreements, background check requests, and other HR documents for employees located globally.
- Facilitate HR offboarding and termination processes, including documentation and communication for employees located globally
- Handle IT requests, including submitting email and laptop requests for new hires, creating shipping labels, and tracking laptop returns for terminated employees
- Audit employee records for accuracy and maintain records throughout the employment cycle
- Respond to internal and external information requests via CrossCountry’s Ticketing System (i.e. employment & background check verification)
- Concurrently manage multiple and ad-hoc projects in a fast-paced environment
What You'll Do (Immigration):
- Provide visa application support to the Immigration Manager by collecting and organizing required documents
- Update metrics and tracking tools for internal and external stakeholders
- With guidance, research and update program and immigration-specific memos
- File and maintain paper notifications sent to McLean office
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human capital/resources, or communications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Interest in human resources, immigration, operations, or consulting
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing multiple projects and timelines, strong organizational skills, and extreme attention to detail
- Ability to be on-site at our McLean, Virginia office 2-3 days per week
