We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with NetSuite implementation skills to join this transformation project at initiation to play an integral role partnering with senior stakeholders across the core functions of our business as well as our selected 3rd party implementation partner. A self-starter, with a passion for facilitation and a sharp eye for detail, you’ll shape our future ways of working, lead requirements definition as we implement the NetSuite ERP solution, and support successful delivery. This role will interface day-to-day with the leadership team of IAFD, and so excellent written and verbal executive communication skills are a must.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize your expertise in business process modeling to analyze current-state ways of working, document future-state business processes and identify areas for technology enablement and optimization.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and elicit, analyze, and document business needs and objectives related to the NetSuite implementation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and our 3rd party vendor to translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with best practices and a mindset of ‘configuration vs. customization’.
- Create and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs) that to foster clear communication and understanding among stakeholders.
- Apply your knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies to ensure successful project delivery within our chosen hybrid framework.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, facilitating effective communication, clarifying requirements, and ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, with a focus on business process modeling and business requirements documentation for technology implementations within complex organizations.
- Proven experience working with NetSuite ERP and familiarity implementing to support lead to quote, design to build, procure to pay, plan to produce and order to cash business processes.
- Strong proficiency in business process modeling techniques.
- Extensive experience working with both waterfall and agile methodologies, adept at applying the appropriate approach for requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and with stakeholders at senior levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify business needs, evaluate potential solutions (leveraging both process changes and technology capabilities).
- Manufacturing and / or field service industry experience a significant plus.
