Vonage has created the Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office to be responsible for driving and monitoring compliance against Vonage’s CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) requirements following the acquisition of Vonage by Ericsson. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious CFIUS Technical Writer to join this growing team.
As a CFIUS Technical Writer, you will collaborate with other team members to process and transform complex information into understandable content for both internal and external consumption. You will write or revise supporting content, including position memos and data flows.
What you will do:
- Maintains operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications.
- Gathers and documents technical information.
- Maintains internal documentation library.
- Works with product and software engineers and developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
- Research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers.
- Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources.
What is Required:
- Understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), LucidChart
- Knowledge or experience with CFIUS is a plus.
- Must work US location Holmdel, NJ or DC preferred, or within Eastern or Central time zones
Education:
- Five (5) years’ experience as a Tech Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required
