Business Development Executive, Cross-Border E-Commerce

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as an Business Development Executive. In this role, you will work closely with teams in Japan and Southeast Asia to expand our presence in the China market and develop new brands. You will also play a key role in proposing tailored marketing and e-commerce solutions for brands looking to enter China or strengthen their presence in Japan and Southeast Asia. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for cross-border collaboration and strategic growth.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new clients, focusing on both China and international markets.
• Generate leads through networking, partnerships, and digital marketing channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with international partners, suppliers, and logistics provider to ensure seamless operations across borders.
• Identify and evaluate potential brands and cross-border e-commerce trends, client preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Propose E-Commerce and marketing solutions to Chinese brands for Japan and Southeast Asia markets.
• Prepare the proposal and organise the sales activities to Chinese brands.
• Work with the Japan and Southeast Asia team to develop new business in China.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field
• 2+ years of business development/sales experience in E-Commerce industry
• Experience working with international E-Commerce platforms such as Amazon, Shopee, TikTok Shop, etc.
• Excellent level of English communication
• Detail-oriented, well organized with good sense of responsibility
• Energetic and able to work under pressure
• Daily conversational level of Japanese is a plus
