Join the dynamic and innovative Talent Strategy team at Coupa as an Instructional Designer! We are seeking a talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing creative and engaging custom content for our employees. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create high-quality learning solutions in various formats, including e-learning, video, classroom, and job aids, all while supporting our Talent Strategy initiatives. You must possess a strong bias for action, an unwavering commitment to helping others succeed, and be able to lead and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructors, and other teams.

What you will do:
- Work directly with cross-functional stakeholders and SMEs to identify and define learning needs and objectives
- Use content authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging rapid development techniques
- Design and develop engaging and memorable learning opportunities, including assessments, videos, activities, job aids, and more
- Draft storyboards, scripts, and prototypes of training content and proactively manage drafts through proper reviews, updates, and approvals
- Convert existing documentation and training materials into engaging and effective e-learning courses
- Collaborate and contribute to a high-performing team
- Analyze, update, and refine existing content when appropriate
What you will bring to Coupa:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in multimedia learning development and instructional design within a corporate training environment
- Outstanding writing, editing, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner
- Proven ability to assess learning needs and develop media-rich, engaging, and high-impact learning solutions
- Knowledge and application of instructional design theory, models, and technical training best practices
- Experience in making e-learning exciting, fun, and social
- Expertise in using Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
- The ideal candidate will also have experience creating animated videos with Vyond, developing custom interactions with Articulate Storyline, and editing audio
- Experience in graphic design or illustration is a plus
- Experience with localization and accessibility standards is a plus
