What we’re looking for
We’re excited to build our inaugural team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in Heredia, Costa Rica. As part of this founding team for SurveyMonkey in Latin America, you’ll play a key role in bringing our 25 years of global success to this new region. This is a full-time position with the expectation of being in the office 3-4 days per week alongside the team for sales training, customer calls, team bonding, and collaborative learning. You'll shape a strong, cohesive team culture while gaining valuable in-the-moment experience. Our mission is to develop and grow SDRs into high-performing SaaS Account Executives within 12-18 months.
What you’ll be working on
- Identify and target high-value accounts that align with our ideal customer profile.
- Execute outbound prospecting efforts through a blend of cold calling, email outreach, engaging existing product users, and leveraging social selling to generate qualified leads for our Account Executives.
- Qualify inbound leads by assessing their needs, pain points, and investment potential to determine their fit with SurveyMonkey's offerings.
- Engage with qualified leads through personalized communication, articulating our value proposition, and scheduling meetings for Account Executives.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date lead pipeline in our CRM, ensuring data accuracy and consistent follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to refine prospecting strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitive offerings to confidently position SurveyMonkey during sales conversations.
We’d love to hear from people with
- Are eager to develop enterprise sales skills, advance their career, and earn a SaaS Account Executive role within 12-18 months.
- Possess high levels of competitiveness, integrity, coachability, adaptability, and curiosity.
- 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in a SaaS environment, with a track record of exceeding sales goals and generating qualified leads.
- Are fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Excel in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport.
- Have strong presentation skills and confidence in engaging prospects through compelling conversations.
- Are proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Sandler, BANT, or GPCT.
This opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Heredia 3 days per week.
