Job Summary:

As the Director of Demand Generation, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving all demand generation initiatives within the organization. This strategic leadership role requires a metrics-driven individual with a deep understanding of marketing best practices and a proven track record of achieving growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize demand generation processes and drive pipeline growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Set demand generation goals and budgets aligned with the company's overall growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies, including account-based marketing, media buying, digital advertising, event marketing, SEO, and more.
  • Oversee and coordinate all demand generation activities, ensuring alignment and optimization across channels.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and inform demand generation strategy.
  • Develop and execute growth experiments to test new marketing channels and tactics.
  • Measure and analyze demand generation performance using key metrics such as website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize demand generation campaigns and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage the demand generation budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of demand generation and content marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product, engineering) to ensure alignment and optimize demand generation efforts.

Requirements and Preferred Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in demand generation or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing best practices, including content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, web marketing, SEO, SEM, and paid advertising.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and achieving marketing goals in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU analysis.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology and trends.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
