We are actively looking for a skilled IT Automation Specialist to join our team. This role combines traditional IT responsibilities with automation implementation and AI technology evaluation. The ideal candidate will manage our IT systems, drive efficiency through automation, and help the company leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to improve our products and internal processes.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage automation workflows using tools like Zapier or n8n to improve efficiency
- Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones
- Implement applications and software upgrades and troubleshoot any performance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with security audits, identify vulnerabilities, and deploy IT solutions or discover AI tools.
- Stay updated with the latest AI trends and technologies. Evaluate and recommend AI products and technologies that can enhance our routine workflow.
- Monitor and optimize IT system performance and reliability.
- Train members in using software and hardware, and provide technical support when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar IT role, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong scripting skills, particularly in JavaScript or Python.
- Demonstrates interest in AI technologies and experience in evaluating AI products.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Plus:
- Experience in building Slack apps (bots)
- Experience in building and maintaining internal tools to support team’s workflow.
- Ability to build prototypes using LLMs or text-to-image models.
- Enthusiasm for discovering and implementing cutting-edge AI technologies
- Can be in the office at least 4 days/week. Since this role will require being able to address IT issues as they arise in the office, we prefer that you can come to the office on most days
Note: This is a one-year full-time contractor position. There may be an opportunity to discuss a regular full-time position offer if performance exceeds expectations during the interview process.
