Motion Designer (World of Warships Franchise)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for а Motion Designer to work on the World of Warships Franchise in our Belgrade office.

Motion Design Team creates dynamic animated elements for videos, advertising campaigns, game trailers, and social media content, including titles, logos, transitions, and motion graphics.

The team's tasks involve developing concepts, video editing with animation integration, creating graphics and animations for various platforms, and closely collaborating with creative teams. Tasks also include interacting with the game engine to optimize and adapt visual effects, ensuring compatibility with the game's technical requirements.

What will you do?

• Production of video content: graphic design of videos, infographics (2D, 3D), animation, visualization, creation of caps, screensavers, and titles of various complexity
• Participation in the work of the creative team at the stage of idea development
• Development and practical realization of artistic concepts and animated computer graphics
• Participation in the filming process
• Keeping up to date with new software, technologies, and working methods

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of commercial experience in motion design
• Professional knowledge of 2D- and 3D-design graphic packages: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D (Redshift/ Octane/ Corona/ Arnold) - basic modeling, shading, lighting, animation, rendering
• Experience in compositing, knowledge of editing theory and the basics of directing, understanding of technical and artistic principles of CG creation
• Understanding of video design, and the world's major trends in this direction
• Sense of style and visual thinking
• Awareness of the latest trends in the motion graphics market
• Advanced Russian
• Intermediate English level or higher
• Willingness to work in the office in Belgrade, Serbia (we help with relocation)
• Portfolio with showreel, with 2D and 3D graphics

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Art education
• 3D modeling experience
• Knowledge of Blender
• Ability to draw sketches, storyboards
