We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Engineering who can combine strong leadership abilities with a technical foundation in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP. This is a technical management role, where you’ll actively engage with cloud architecture, design, and implementation while also managing and growing a talented team. We’re looking for someone who can strike the right balance between technical depth and team leadership, ensuring smooth delivery of critical cloud projects.. This role requires someone who can dive deep into technical discussions while also providing vision and direction to the team.

What you would do:

Inspire, motivate, lead and manage a team of world-class developers that design and develop innovative products for our on-prem as well as SaaS offerings.

Own the product end-to-end, from defining requirements with internal stakeholders to building, testing and deployment.

Drive thought leadership and innovation to accelerate high-quality software development.

Mentor, lead and grow your engineers on the team.

Set clear goals and lead collaborative achievements.

Work closely with various stakeholders within Cohesity like product management, program management, sales, QA, and support teams to deliver high-quality products and drive the product vision and roadmap.

Understand market dynamics to drive product direction and execution for the team.

What you bring along:

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a relevant technical field

10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in planning, architecting, and delivering high-quality products

5+ years of building, managing or leading high-performance software development teamsTechnical foundation in Cloud environments like AWS

Knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies.

Previous experience building highly-scalable distributed systems

Excellent coding & design skills

Domain expertise in relevant areas such as Distributed systems, Platforms, Storage, Data Management, Data pipelines/ETL, AI/ML, SaaS #LI-VD1Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.US Pay Range$216,000—$270,000 USD
