Fullstack React Native Developer

Type: Contract (20-30 hours/week)

Compensation: 5k-8k/month

About Us:

We’re an innovative, newly funded startup building a music-focused mobile app that combines gamification and social features to revolutionize music discovery. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer with expertise in React Native to take ownership of our development process and help bring our product to life on both iOS and Android platforms.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the development of our mobile app using React Native for iOS and Android.
• Architect and implement backend services to support app functionality, ensuring seamless integration with the frontend.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs (music streaming, analytics, social media).
• Set up and manage analytics tracking to monitor key user interactions and performance metrics.
• Implement custom event tracking and logging to capture user behavior, feature engagement, and app performance.
• Ensure smooth and optimized app performance across both iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with the product, design, and frontend teams to ensure the app delivers an engaging and seamless user experience.
• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack to ensure app stability and performance in a fast-paced, iterative development cycle.
• What We’re Looking For:
• Strong experience with React Native for mobile app development.
• Proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js, Express) and database management (MongoDB, SQL).
• Experience integrating and managing analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Firebase, or Mixpanel.
• Ability to handle both frontend and backend development, delivering high-quality, maintainable code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with API integrations, particularly with music or social media platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with native platform development (Swift/Java).
• Experience in music technology or the gaming industry is a plus.
