AWS DevOps Engineer "Remote"

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in containerization and Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and scaling our AWS cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on building and maintaining containerized applications. This role will involve automating infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring cloud environments, and ensuring the highest level of security and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure using services like EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, and ECS.
-Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Amazon ECS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
-Automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
-Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
-Monitor and troubleshoot containerized workloads and applications using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and Prometheus.
-Ensure security best practices by managing IAM roles, security groups, and VPC configurations.
-Optimize the scalability and performance of containerized applications.
-Collaborate with the development team to integrate applications with containers and deploy them seamlessly.

Requirements:

-3+ years of experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
-Expertise in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
-Proven experience with Amazon ECS for managing and deploying containerized applications.
-Strong understanding of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
-Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
-Experience with CI/CD practices and tools for automating builds, testing, and deployments.
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
-AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
