- We are hiring an Indian based Senior Contracts Negotiator (5 - 7 years proven experience) to join our Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) legal department in this fast-growing, truly globally distributed company. Reporting to the Director, APJ Legal, this individual contributor role will support global customer contracts and is ideal for a professional with significant experience drafting and negotiating technology non-disclosure, licensing, cloud and services agreements with customers based in multiple regions, including Americas, EMEA and APJ. This is primarily a work-from-home position requiring flexible hours to enable supporting global needs, while maintaining a balanced life. We are focusing our search in the Bangalore, India area.
What You Will Be Doing
This role involves drafting and negotiating non-disclosure, software, services, and cloud contracts with global customers while working directly with legal colleagues and sales partners based in the USA, India, and elsewhere. Negotiators may be assigned to support a specific region (e.g., Americas, APJ, or EMEA) for a particular time-period based on need. Duties include supporting the contract administration lifecycle, including responding to inbound requests, contract review and interpretation, routing requests to team members for response, signatures, and archiving, and maintaining confidentiality of work material. In addition, our contract managers help to maintain and enhance our forms, playbooks, and procedures in support of customer contract initiatives.

What You Bring
- 5 - 7+ years of experience successfully supporting global customers in an in-house legal department, handling contract drafting, and managing deal administration through closure.
- Ethical judgment with the ability to function independently, excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, DocuSign, and Salesforce, as well as contracts management systems.
- Strong communication, influencing, persuasion, negotiation, conflict resolution skills
- Strong ability to develop and manage relationships with key business partners and customers
- This is a global position and may require some travel
- Flexibility in work times to support global time zones, as needed
- Self-starting, proactive, motivated, adaptable person who can, with flexibility, perseverance and humor, prioritize and handle multiple projects and recalibrate advice in view of shifting priorities.
