Role Overview

As a Podcast Producer at Veel, you will oversee the development, production, and distribution of our new podcast series. You'll be responsible for everything from conceptualizing episodes to managing logistics, guest bookings, and editing. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the voice of our podcast and grow it into a thought-leadership platform that showcases industry trends, expert insights, and engaging stories from the creator economy.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of the podcast production process, including episode topics, format, and guest coordination.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align podcast content with overall brand and marketing strategy.
• Manage podcast recording, editing, and sound engineering to ensure high-quality audio output.
• Research and book industry experts, influencers, and creators as podcast guests.
• Oversee post-production, including editing, sound design, and mastering, to deliver polished episodes.
• Create promotional strategies to grow the podcast's audience, including social media content and partnerships.
• Track and analyze podcast metrics, providing insights and recommendations for future growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in podcast production, including content creation, editing, and distribution.
• Strong knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar).
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to engage with guests and ensure a smooth interview process.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate compelling episode ideas.
• Familiarity with podcast distribution platforms (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.) and SEO for podcasts.
• Interest in influencer marketing, UGC, and digital media is a plus.
