What does the role look like?

As our Senior Technical Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Whop. Reporting directly to the Head of TA and working alongside two other recruiters, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and closing top-tier talent specifically in the tech and GTM domains.

You will work closely with hiring managers and team leaders to understand their unique hiring needs, aligning on candidate profiles to ensure a strong cultural and technical fit. You will proactively identify challenges in the recruitment process and propose effective solutions, continuously improving our approach to talent acquisition. You obsess over candidate experience and thrive in our fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating agility in adjusting priorities while maintaining a clear focus on key recruitment goals.

Your first 90 days will look like the following:

  • Within 30 days: You will immerse yourself in the company culture, mission, and values to understand the organization deeply. You will build relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers and the recruitment team, while actively kicking off your first several roles.
  • Within 60 days: You will have the foundation you need to start closing top talent. You will be expected to have made at least 3 hires. In addition, you will have leveraged innovative sourcing techniques and tools to build a robust technical pipeline of qualified candidates, ensuring that we meet our hiring goals swiftly.
  • Within 90 days: You will take ownership of your requisition load, maintaining a robust pipeline to efficiently fill roles maintaining a 45 day time to fill. You will be an expert in LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem & Greenhouse.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting for an array of software engineering and UX roles, inclusive of specialized and niche positions
  • Proficient in utilizing advanced sourcing methods, including Boolean searches on Linkedin, Github, and niche job boards to identify and engage top tech talent
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and align on candidate profiles
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments, quickly adapting to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on key recruitment goals and delivering results
  • Preferred: Staffing agency experience; high-volume recruitment and client management

  • Target base salary of $170,000 - $200,000 + a competitive equity package
