About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to play a pivotal role in scaling Milio’s Generative AI-powered platform. You’ll work with technologies like TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL and Elastic on the front- and back-end, and you’ll use AWS Bedrock to integrate GenAI features into the platform. Given that our entire stack is on AWS, experience working within this environment is essential. As a fast-paced startup, we value engineers who can thrive in a dynamic environment, make swift decisions, and are comfortable with ambiguity and rapid growth. What You’ll Do

• Architect, design, and implement features across the stack, using TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and Elastic.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party HR systems and services (e.g., Workday, SAP) via APIs.
• Work with AWS Bedrock to incorporate and utilize GenAI features within the platform.
• Leverage Elastic as a core component of the platform’s architecture for search and analytics functionality.
• Take full ownership of the front-end development using React, building intuitive and efficient user interfaces.
• Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and highly available in a cloud-native environment on AWS.
• Lead system design decisions, API development, and infrastructure scaling.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and back-end technologies like Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Extensive experience with AWS (cloud infrastructure, services, and deployment) is critical.
• In-depth experience with Elastic, as it plays a key role in our architecture for both search and analytics.
• Proven experience integrating third-party systems via APIs.
• Comfortable with DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of database design and performance tuning in PostgreSQL.
• Extensive front-end development experience with React
• Startup experience is highly valued, as we move quickly and need individuals who can adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
