About the job
Passionate about AI and financial optimization, and ready to join a thriving fast-paced growth story already touching the life of hundreds of thousands? Then join our mission to disrupt the field of tax advisory!
TaxMachine enables accountants to provide top quality financial advice clients deserve. Accountants struggle to keep up with increasing compliance and regulatory matters, leaving less and less time for proper client advice. TaxMachine is building a data-driven platform providing 100% correct tax advice in a transparent way for both accountants and their clients. Through our own proprietary technology, we calculate and optimise individual financial situations in seconds. Usable and personalised reports are generated on the fly through the help of AI and our tax calculation engine.
As a Back End Engineer, you are responsible for the development and maintenance of our server-side applications, architecture and reliability. We believe in empowering our teams to own all aspects of bringing TaxMachine to life. As such, you’ll get the opportunity to make key contributions across the Back End - this includes developing and improving frameworks, in addition to making direct contributions to your team’s product area, and collaborating closely with other developers, designers and other stakeholders.
Back End Engineers at TaxMachine have a stake in all aspects of the product - from coming up with the next big ideas to build, to helping set expectations and plan roadmaps, to understanding the impact of new features through rigorous data analysis. As your career at TaxMachine develops, you’ll also get the chance to mentor new team members, and grow your role towards what you’re most passionate about.
