The opportunity ✨

We're looking for a passionate AI Engineer to join our team and revolutionize sustainability reporting — making it transparent and hyper-efficient, allowing sustainability officers time to do what matters: implement sustainable business practices.

Your Responsibilities 🚀

• You hold the first position in the product development chain and collaborate closely with product team and customers success to integrate AI solutions into our products.
• You work with advanced AI models, including LLMs, deep learning, NLP, and data mining techniques to automate sustainability reporting.
• You experiment with advanced prompt engineering techniques to improve the quality of the insights.
• You write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code and know how to package your code.
• You apply your knowledge and experience to optimize AI models.
• You stay updated on the latest AI / LLM trends and technologies to continuously improve our offerings.
• You research new techniques and implement existing ideas to elevate the quality of our AI output.

Who you are 💡

• Educational Background: PhD or Master in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
• Soft Skills:
  • Passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact.
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive mindset.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-organizing with the ability to work independently.
  • Effective & structured communicator who thrives in a collaborative setting.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge in AI, LLM, and machine learning.
  • Expert in Python programming.
  • Practical experience with Docker, Azure, and GCP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Location: Balanced remote work possible, but we are the WinterCircus in Gent — the tech hub of Belgium!
